Mylestones is a full service specialty company in Boiling Springs, South Carolina that is dedicated to creating and preserving lasting memories of the most important times in our lives. Founded in 2003 by Maggie Moore, what began as a special moment in her life has since grown into an opportunity to help others create their own memorable and personalized celebrations.
In October of 2002, Maggie's friends were planning a baby shower and awaiting the arrival of her little boy, Myles. Just before the shower date, they learned that the items they had ordered for the shower (in the same theme as the nursery) were back-ordered and would not arrive in time. So Maggie decided to make her own. When the shower guests saw the favors and tableware she had made, they told her she should start her own business making them for other people. So in January of 2003 came the birth of her son, Myles, and the birth of her company, Mylestones.
In the beginning, Mylestones focused on favors for all occasions, but with a little extra emphasis on wedding favors. Then came custom designed stationery, as word spread and demand for her creativity grew. With a handful of very loyal customers, and a few new ones too, Maggie decided to take her business even further. In 2004, she earned her degree in Bridal Consulting, and coordinated her first wedding in June. Her degree combined with her previous ten years of experience participating in various parts of weddings, from singing to directing, has enabled her to utilize her skills to the highest level. Along with more education came more business, and the need to acquire two assistants. Also in 2004, Mylestones became a proud Charter Member of the Upstate Bridal Association, an organization committed to honesty and integrity. In the spring of 2005, Mylestones was further blessed to become a member of the Upstate Wedding Mall.
Now, as her son Myles grows, so does Mylestones. And every time Maggie does another job, she remembers how it all came about. So each invitation or favor she makes, and every event she coordinates is handled as if it was her own. It is very special to her - just like Myles.
